Clarks Town still atop Trelawny Major League
BOUNTY HALL, Trelawny – Former champions Harmony FC and Holland United failed to assume the lead in the Trelawny/National Rums Major League after playing to a 0-0 draw in a rescheduled game at Bounty Hall on Wednesday.
Both teams went into the game tied on 10 points — two behind leaders Clarks Town — but failed to produce the goal that would have taken them on top of the tables.
Harmony, last season’s beaten finalists, stayed in second place on goal difference over Holland, two points ahead Duanvale and Kinloss.
This was also Harmony’s second straight draw after winning their first three games.
The top three teams will be in action tomorrow when the first round of the competition continues.
Clarks Town will be away to promoted Sherwood, Harmony host Upsetters at Bounty Hall, while Holland will be a home to Palmento at William Knibb.
