H’View, Cavalier ahead in KSAFA Confed U-17
HARBOUR View scored their fifth consecutive win in the Claro/KSAFA Under-17 Confed League on Tuesday after beating third-placed Waterhouse 4-1 at home to lead with 15 points — two more than Cavalier.
The competition’s leading scorer Jorginho James netted twice to bring his tally to eight, while Romario Williams (37th minute) and Kyle Scott (75th) also scored for the East Kingston club. Jason Wright got Waterhouse’s consolation.
Meanwhile, unbeaten Cavalier stayed second on 13 points after Michaelos Martin’s brace (37th and 63rd) gave them a 2-0 win over Allman/Woodford.
Fourth-placed Arnett Gardens (nine points), who trail Waterhouse by a point, scored their third win of the season against Duhaney Park, courtesy of Lennox Russell first-minute goal.
Cooreville destroyed Tivoli Gardens 4-1 to hold onto fifth spot. Allwayne Danvers, Ricardo Henry, Tevin Ramsey and Canniggia Johnson got the goals for Cooreville, while Barrington Pryce was Tivoli’s scorer.
Boys’ Town scored four unanswered goals against Brown’s Town, with a double from Odain Hamilton and a strike each from Jehavanie Harrison and Brian Pinnock.
In another game, Santos stopped Maverley/Hughenden 2-1 with goals from Andre and Adrian Moulton. Keith Whyte scored for Maverley.
