Good deeds yield goodness
Dear Editor,
Personal development and good governance are uniquely connected to our evolution.
On a karmic level Jamaica is not that relatively young. Even though they claim we are only 47 years old we really have been accumulating karma for over 500 years. However, as the evolution of life and consciousness progresses, karma is also working as a correcting mechanism through trial and error.
Today’s Jamaica seems to have caught a disease called bad mind. Jamaica is suffering from ignorance and illusions. Our egos will not allow us to see the truth or even reality. What is 47 years? Does it not sound illogical to disregard our past with regard to the forward movement of our development?
Wisdom is supposed to be gained through experience over time – and this cannot happen even in a few hundred years. Because of our selfishness, we suffer from a delusion that our actions and unfortunate judgements move us towards a retrogressive state of development.
Good actions bring forth a good future and bad actions bring forth a bad future. This is a first step towards awareness. Development of our accumulated consciousness depends on the merits of our previous deeds.
