FIFA players’ agent exam set for next month
THE first of two FIFA Players’ Agent Examination for this year will be held on Thursday, April 15 at 10:00 am by the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) in conjunction with the governing body for world football, FIFA.
Material for the examination will include both international and local. The examination will be comprised of 20 questions, 15 international and five local with each question valuing one mark.
Candidates interested in sitting the examination should contact the JFF and confirm interest by Friday, March 26, 2010. Upon confirmation, interested candidates will be required to pay a fee of $3,000.
Interested candidates should familiarise themselves with the following areas which are available on FIFA’s official website www.FIFA.com:
* FIFA statutes, as adopted at the Ordinary Congress in Nassau on 3 June 2009;
* Regulations governing the application of the FIFA statutes, as adopted at the Ordinary Congress in Nassau on 3 June 2009;
* FIFA regulations on the status and transfer of players, edition 2009, including the annexes (1 to 5);
* Rules for the status and transfer of futsal players, Annex 6 of the FIFA regulations on the status and transfer of players;
* FIFA players’ agents regulations, edition 2008, including the annexes 1, 2 and 3;
* Rules governing the procedures of the players’ status committee and the dispute resolution chamber, edition 2008;
* FIFA disciplinary code, edition 2009, first title: Chapter I, section 1 to 6 and Chapter II, section 8;
* Circulars and any annexes as follows:
* No 792: Co-ordinated international match calendar;
* No 1125: Revised FIFA players’ agents regulations;
* No 1147: Eligibility to play for the representative teams
Articles 15-18 of the regulations governing the application of the FIFA statutes;
* No 1148: Revised rules governing the procedures of the players’ status committee and the dispute resolution chamber.
