Corby win in Malvern Corner League
Malvern St Elizabeth — Corby’s Mahlon Miller scored twice to lead his team to a come-from-behind 4-3 win over Kinowl at the Bethlehem playfield in the Malvern Corner League last Saturday.
Kinowl scored first through Fitzroy Plummer in the 18th minute, but Corby equalised when Miller scored his first in the 25th minute.
Three minutes later Kinowl regained the lead through Imran Robinson, but Timothy Watson gave Corby the equaliser in the 31st minute.
Kinowl regained the lead thanks to a penalty which was easily converted by Dwayne Williams in the 35th minute. Kinowl led 3-2 at the half-time whistle.
But Corby benefitted from goalkeeping errors to score twice in two minutes through Kemar Ladley in the 55th minute and Miller (57th) to complete victory.
