Clarks Town make it three from three
HYDE, Trelawny — Former champions Clarks Town made it three wins from three starts on Sunday as they edged Spicy Hill 2-1 away at the Georgia Playfield in the Trelawny Football Association’s National Rums of Jamaica Major League.
Clarks Town, who won the league two years ago but spent just one season in the Western Confederation Super League, sit on top of the points table with nine points, two more than Harmony and Duanvale with Holland and Flames next on four points.
Harmony, who have a game in hand, had the biggest margin of victory on Sunday, spanking promoted Sherwood 5-0 to remain the only team yet to concede a goal.
Duanvale rebounded from their upset loss to Kinloss on Tuesday to beat Granville 2-0 at William Knibb.
Holland, who had lost their opening game, got their first win, edging Dromilly 1-0 on Saturday, while Flames outscored Upsetters 3-2 and Palmento were 1-0 winners over Kinloss.
