Reservoir location
Dear Editor
There will always be earnest prayers going up to God for rain in the face of water restrictions in the Corporate Area and elsewhere.
When God sends the rains as He did for 24 hours non-stop over a two-day period, December 22 and 23, 2009, we as a country should respect His mercy by ensuring that our catchment and storage facilities are filled.
If 98 per cent of our rainfall generated from the watersheds on the inclined slopes of the Blue Mountains is deposited at sea via the Kingston Harbour, then that is where the reservoir needs to be relocated.
If anybody wants rain to fall in his mouth, he must first ensure that he points his mouth in the direction of the raindrops and that nothing hinders the full capacity of that orifice. Can the NWC disprove this logic?
