D’Park stun leaders Cavalier in KSAFA league
Duhaney Park created the upset of the round in the Claro/KSAFA Super League on Saturday when they scored a 2-1 win over Cavalier at the Constant Spring Complex.
Damion Waite netted in the 54th minute and Earl Roberts in the 69th for Duhaney Park in their win over the leaders, while Locksley Thompson scored Cavalier’s consolation 15 minutes from time.
However, Cavalier still stay ahead of the chasing pack after Rae Town threw away their chance to retake the lead by dropping two points with thier draw against Bull Bay. Cavalier are on 43 points, ahead of Rae Town by a point and two more than Santos, who have a game in hand.
In other matches, Santos stopped Meadhaven 1-0, JDF defeated Constant Spring 2-1, Mountain View were 1-0 winners against Barbican and Real Mona beat Maverley/Hughenden 2-0.
