Cavalier clip Rae Town, lead Super League
Cavalier moved back to the top of the Claro/KSAFA Super League after coming from behind to beat Rae Town 2-1 in their top-of-the-table clash at Spring Complex yesterday.
Damion Jackson fired the visitors in front after 57th minutes, but Locksley Thomspon equalised for the hosts three minutes from time from the spot.
Veteran midfielder Richard Hoo netted the winner three minutes into stoppage time as Cavalier jumped two points ahead of their opponents, with a game in hand and three rounds remaining.
In other games, Sontos stopped Real Mona 2-1; Mountain View clipped Duhaney Park 1-0; JDF defeated Maverley/Hughenden 3-0; Bull Bay beat Meadhaven 1-0, while Barbican and Constant Spring drew 0-0.
At Bell/Chung Oval, Fabian Nethersole netted a brace to lead Santos past Mona. Duane Weise replied for Mona.
At Up Park Camp, Robert Wright got a double and Damion Brown one as the soldiers kept Maverley rooted at the bottom with five points.
At Baldwin Crescent, Andre Palmer’s scored the only goal on 32 minutes as Mountain Viuew topped the hosts.
Renaldo Lopez also scored the lone goal in the 74th in Bull Bay’s win over Meadhaven.
Santos are third with 38 points, followed by Mountain View with 34, JDF 31, Constant Spring 28, Mona 21, Barbican 20, Duhaney Park 18, Bull Bay 18 and Meadhaven 12.
