A Funny Valentine
In such an economic climate and on a student’s salary, most TEENs find it hard to indulge in the day of love that we have come to know as Valentine’s Day. At most, persons can manage to save $1,000, which they would not have to touch for anything important right now. So we here at TEENage asked people if they only had $1,000 to spend on their Valentine what would they do and the responses were creative. These included:
* Buy two patties and two cocobreads and individual sodas and head up to Hope Gardens for a picnic.
* Buy a chocolate and maybe a teddybear.
For people who are in this economic dilemma, don’t worry. We have come up with a top five list of cute things to do for under $1,000
* Believe it or not, it is possible to buy two double scoops of delectable Haagen Daz ice cream and have change of $50. The atmosphere is intimate and will really create an aura of love and intimacy.
* Devon House cannot be left out with double scoops and sumptuous pastries, it will be a feast in the garden.
* If you don’t mind sharing, one can purchase a succulent Jack Daniels burger from TGIFridays, which is big enough for two and of course free soda refills leave you with change.
* Head to the supermarket and buy some sweet treats and head out to the beach. Sunday, sunset, sea and the shore is a perfect recipe for love
* Spending time laughing and smiling… PRICELESS.
We invite you to make your decision and enjoy.
