Businessman killed in Ocho Rios

FORTY-one-year-old businessman, Leighton Haye otherwise called ‘Chris’, of Content Gardens, Ocho Rios, St Ann was shot and killed by gunmen at his home last night.

Police said about 10:30 pm, Haye arrived home and was exiting his car when he was pounced on by two men armed with guns.

He was shot several times and robbed of his licensed firearm. Haye died on the spot.

The Ocho Rios Criminal Investigation Bureau is investigating.
