Congrats, Minister Vaz

I have watched Minister Daryl Vaz for sometime now, from the Portland disaster to the Haitian disaster and in between. I wish to commend Minister Vaz for his statesmanship during the Haitian crisis.
He dispensed the information on the Haitian disaster with clarity to the world. He handled his portfolio in this crucial moment with a great deal of pride for Jamaica. He is a communicator and a man who responds to the public.
When we called him to find out exactly where we could send a large amount of water to Haiti, he not only communicated, but was clear about who was in charge of that, and how it could be transported safely. He kept in touch and did not leave us hanging. He is a great Cabinet member.
Congratulations to Mr Vaz.
