Reader-friendly

Thank you for making your popular news coverage considerably more reader-friendly. I am referring to the graphic illustration of the scene and event which accompanied the newspaper’s report of January 5 on the hijacking of a taxi the previous day. I hope it will be a regular addition to the newspaper’s reporting format.
The map is a reader aid I have been wanting for some time now. By illustrating the location in relation to surrounding areas and the unfolding of the activity, the report puts the story in clear visual context and adds to the reader’s comprehension, especially those who have not kept up with the many changes to the layout of the Corporate Area over time.
The Observer should extend this improvement to news coverage beyond the Corporate Area. Other news media should do the same. It improves the product.
