Breathalyse
Dear Editor,
I believe the carnage on the Jamaican roads could be significantly reduced if breathalysers were used at traffic lights and at the scene of accidents. Why is the answer on this matter not forthcoming?
Minister Henry has touched an important point – the use of breathalysers. My organisation supports him completely and will offer him any assistance. The companies which produce and distribute alcoholic beverages should form an independent organisation to conduct studies on the specific role of alcohol in accidents. It’s all well and good to say, “Drive responsibly.”
If you drink and drive you should be charged and put away, not given fines!
