Be uplifting
Dear Editor,
It seems as if Jamaicans are suffering from the chronic habit of negative thinking and that we are indeed our own worst enemy. With so many of our media houses putting forth negative predictions for the new year, how can you expect people to be positive?
We are bombarded with them daily – from the talk shows to the newspapers. Why not spread uplifting messages? Publishing negative predictions and thoughts attracts only more negative energy of which we certainly need no more. How can we possibly expect upliftment if there is so much negativity? We certainly need to elevate our minds. No wonder the country is in such a quagmire.
