SOUTH BEACH
Sugarman’s Beach Club had never looked better, the lights and décor of the venue definitely carried the South Beach theme. Despite being rescheduled, promotion groups Privy Events and Illusion Concepts definitely pleased patrons with the highly anticipated event South Beach “City Limits”.
Kicking off at 10pm, patrons of all ages, from Portmore to St Thomas were ready to party to the music of Renaissance, Karyzma, DJ Pretty, Kingston’s All Star and DJ Inferno. Patrons converged everywhere, showing off their various dance moves, from the centre of the venue to the all access VIP areas, Club Malibu, Privy Lounge and the Mansion.
Partying in fine style were the VIP patrons who included Chino and the Big Ship family, Ms Thing and many others. They were catered to a buffet unlike any other, with a selection of local and international dishes. Patrons could choose soup, chicken pasta, curry goat, ham, jerk chicken and pork, and much more.
With high energy music from different genres, the music drew patrons together as men and women alike were in frenzy until the event closed off at 5am. All in all, it was a good way to kick off the New Year with good music and a great vibe.
11:59
Coming again this year with the theme ‘Live from Times Square,’ the promoters of 11:59 made New Year’s Eve a night to remember. Being staged for the 5th time, the Network ended 2009 and entered 2010 giving their patrons an amazing night. Taking place at The Estate – Ranny Williams Entertainment Complex, patrons had more than enough space to party into 2010 on two dance floors, with a variety of genres by Zj’s Liquid and Chrome, Code Red and Coppershot.
Ending at almost 4am, patrons streamed out of the venue ready for 2010 and definately pleased.
