Rhodes Hall hunt win number two in KFC basketball
RHODES HALL, Hanover – New comers Rhodes Hall High will go after their second win in the Under-16 section of the ISSA/KFC Western Conference High school basketball championships this afternoon when they take on William Knibb Memorial High as action resumes after the Christmas break.
William Knibb, who have played six games, share the lead on 10 points with defending champions and unbeaten Cornwall College and Herbert Morrison who have played seven games.
Rhodes Hall have won their lone game played so far and will give the Trelawny-based school a good work out today.
The competition which is in its return-round will continue this week with other games. Tomorrow, Herbert Morrison High will host Muschett High in two games in Under-16 and Under-19 categories in Bogue, on Wednesday Cornwall College and William Knibb meet at the Montego Bay Cricket Club in two games, while on Thursday Spot Valley and Mannings will meet in an Under-19 game.
Herbert Morrison are the runaway leaders in the Under-19 section on 14 points from seven games, followed by defending champions Cornwall College and Muschett High on 10 each, William Knibb on nine, Mannings on eight and Spot Valley High on six points.
