No, Clovis
Dear Editor,
I used to enjoy Clovis’ work, but have noticed for quite some time he is no longer a political columnist but so anti-PNP that he no longer represents the mood of the public. A far better cartoon for January 1 would have been something to reflect the tax package, but he makes yet another anti-PNP drawing, which is as appropriate as a snow-covered house.
Journalists, political cartoonists, even editors have their political bias. The professional ones either declare it or try to temper it, so as to strive for honesty. Clovis has abandoned all attempts at balance.
I suggest that the Observer reassess the purpose of Clovis’ work as it brings down the quality of the publication.
He has become the Rush Limbaugh of cartoonists.
