TAG one
WHERE will you be January 1? TEENage will be jamming away at Jamaica’s hottest gospel festival, Genesis, with these new fabulous TAG (The Anointed Generation) T-shirts.
Not only will Jamaica’s biggest and hypest gospel concert be the launch pad for this cool new Christian line, but it will also be your first chance to make a TAG T-shirt yours.
TAG, the vision of Jamaica Youth for Christ executive, Renee Bingling and Christian graphic artist and rapper Hevol ‘Timba Military’ Benson, is just four months in the making, but already has 12 T-shirt designs and another dozen coming out the third week of January.
In a time where T-shirts covered with skulls and cross bones and other dark images flood the market, and young people put on their clothes without recognising what these symbols represent, TAG provides a positive alternative.
As a physical representation of Joel 2:28, which states, “it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams your young men shall see visions”, TAG is the pouring out of God’s word on a troubled world.
“People need hope. They need the word, and that is what we are giving to them, while representing who we are, The Anointed Generation.” stated Benson, the T-shirt line’s designer.
TAG will have its own booth at Genesis this weekend so don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of the Anointed Generation. You can also get your TAG T-shirts after the launch at the Youth for Christ headquarters at 2 Acacia Avenue in Cross Roads or contact Timothy at 427 5331, or Renee at 861 8947.
