Seba book spot in Captain’ Bakery KO final
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Seba United cruised into the December 27 final of the St James Football Association’s Captain’s Bakery and Grill Knockout on Friday after brushing aside Senior League outfit Fogo United 4-1 in the semi-finals played at the UDC field.
Torey Samuels scored twice and Iton Scott and Rohan Bernard got the others, while Fogo United’s goal came from a defender.
Seba United will face Granville United in Wednesday’s final after Granville came from behind to beat Catherine Hall 2-1 a day earlier at the same venue.
The winner will advance to the Jamaica Football Federation’s Flow Champions Cup Knockout set to start early next year.
Meanwhile, in the Steve Bucknor Division One Knockout, Juniors beat West Green 3-2, thanks to two goals from Tajay Robinson and one from Ren Gillespie, while Jason Malcolm and Andrew Smith scored for West Green.
