Shrek Forever After trailer hits web
Anyone who thought Shrek couldn’t get any bigger, think again.
The loveable green ogre from the land of Far Far Away is back for a fourth (and supposedly final) movie — but this time in 3D.
Entitled Forever After, the new film sees Shrek now settled into domesticated life with his wife Fiona and their children.
But he feels over-domesticated and the local villagers are no longer scared by his ogrish roar.
In a bid to regain his mojo, he strikes a deal with trickster Rumpelstiltskin to try and inject some excitement into his life again.
But the pact goes awry with Shrek being whisked away to an alternate Far Far Away, where he never existed.
This translates to Donkey being forced into cart-pulling duty, while Puss in Boots, who has grown fat and lazy, trades in his sword for a pink bow. At the helm is underhanded Rumpelstiltskin, ruling the kingdom. Essentially, it’s Shrek meets It’s A Wonderful Life in what promises to be the final film about the Scottish ogre.
Mike Mitchell directs, while returning cast members Mike Myers (Shrek), Cameron Diaz (Princess Fiona) and Eddie Murphy (Donkey) are joined by comedians Kathy Griffin and Kristin Schaal as a pair of witches.
Jon Hamm (Don Draper in Mad Men) also voices a dashingly handsome ogre.

Before she was famous…
The Empire State Of Mind singer was just four years old when she appeared on the Cosby Show with the comic legend who played family man Cliff Huxtable.
Keys had just a brief appearance on screen as she took part in a sleepover with pals of the Huxtables’ daughter Rudy. Speaking of her appearance on the US show, Keys said: ‘It was a really, really good memory for me. The whole cast was so cool. We would sit on that big, huge couch and stuff and we all had to sit on Cosby’s knee. He always tried to knock us off of his knee with the bucking horse thing. Of course, my favourite part was winning the game, because I was the winner.’
