The three A’s for success on Digicel Deal or No Deal: Angle, Approach and Action
WITH no one taking my offer of $3 million for the yuletide season, let’s pause and give a standing ovation to last week’s contestant Ms Sabrina Serrant who certainly got her 15 minutes of fame. Ms Serrant walked away with over $77,000, hardly “Christmas money” in my book but a much better attempt than previous weeks’ contestants.
Starting next season I must ensure that I am actively involved in the selection process of the contestants because I am convinced that we need a stronger filter as I have become somewhat annoyed with those thus far. They have definitely been lacking the three A’s for success on Digicel Deal or No Deal — Angle, Approach and Action.
An additionally interesting fact, which some of you may have noticed, is the unnerving male to female ratio, normally I don’t frown at the opportunity to work with the ladies and this show gives me 26 gorgeous ones weekly. However, I despise the fact that the female contestants on the game are finding more and more ways to get to my money. All Jamaican women somehow find a way to get the money. So I am hereby advocating for Madame Producer to source more males for the show. I am satisfied with the 26 beauties I already have, and after all, men have proven to be much easier losers.
So with Christmas approaching fast, I have gotten into the spirit and along with a $3-million jackpot tease, I have also chosen the characters for the season: I have opted to let Simon be the big guy in the red suit and the 26 ladies are always appropriately dressed to be Santa’s little helpers. Of course I will gladly be the Grinch who keeps his $3 million.
Tonight at 8:00 pm on TVJ Ms Kerri-Ann Gillies visits our studios for her chance to win some money for her Christmas shopping. But before she can deck her halls with my cash, I have a few surprises in store for her. I do hope she’s done her homework.
