5 ways to spend Christmas
Just in case you haven’t noticed, Christmas is just around the corner. If you’re still trying to figure out how to celebrate, check out these fun ideas to make the most of your holiday season.
1 Keep it simple. Instead of trying to plan a huge Christmas party in just a few weeks, keep it simple and just invite over close friends. Hand-make some cute little holiday invitations. Ask everyone to bring something so all of the cooking doesn’t fall to you, or better yet, your parents!
2 Have a post-holiday party (for those who just HAVE TO throw a party). Everyone is probably going to be super busy during the holiday, so how about waiting for the New Year! Send a Save the Date for your party from now and have it in early to mid-January. Your friends will be so excited to put something on their 2010 calendars!
3 Just give back. Christmas is a great time of year to give back to the less fortunate and to remember that it’s not all about what’s under your Christmas tree for you. So this holiday season, invite friends and family to join you in giving back to some worthy cause you know of.
4 Head to the movies. If you don’t have the energy to pull together a traditional Christmas dinner or are just looking to break tradition this year, round up your friends and head to the movies on Christmas day. There are sure to be plenty of new movies opening that day and there are hardly any lines!
5. Party it up. For those who have the energy and money to spare, head out for a night on the town. There will be more than enough to pick, choose and refuse. So grab your closest friends and paint the town red!
