Con-Fusion rocked Bull Savannah
The performance of dancehall artiste Laden provided the icing on the cake at the third staging of the event called Con-Fusion.
Nestled in the hills of Bull Savannah in St Elizabeth, Con-Fusion saw a large turnout of patrons, who jammed to old school and current hits courtesy of the sound system selectors Ratty and Bones from Delta Force disco, and Heineken Green Synergy’s DJ Shine.
According to promoter Gavin Roye of N-Nigma Entertainment, Con-Fusion was born out of a need to provide top class entertainment to the residents of the area.
“We thought about bringing the UWI party vibe with a different feel so the young people from the community can come out and have fun. So far I think we have achieved that objective, based on the turnout and the response of the patrons,” Roye, a graduate of the UWI Mona campus explained.
Asked why he chose that location, Roye said, “The area has a lot of young people and they are vibrant party goers, furthermore, I am from the area, so it just blended well.”
Earlier in the night, the Delta Force selectors provided the musical thrills, but it took DJ Shine and his catalogue of treats to turn the venue into a sea of dancing feet and high energy.
Newcomer Sniper King entertained patrons prior to Laden’s performance which was well received by the crowd. Laden nibbled on Really Like You, I’m Sorry and Time to Shine before making way for more musical selections from the disc jocks.
