One week to go for Garfield’s Christmas Wonderland
The days are winding down for the event which seems to have everyone fired up about Garfield’s Christmas Wonderland, scheduled to take place from Friday, December 18 Sunday, December 20 on the grounds of Hope Gardens.
Anticipation has heightened since over 1200 kids got a taste of what to expect next Friday when they turned out for the Prime Minister’s Children’s treat on Wednesday. Garfield was there interacting and giving kids the time of their lives.
The fun and excitement will kick off on Friday and continue throughout the weekend with patrons enjoying major give-aways from the various sponsors.
According to event promoter, Peter Shoucair of Electro Tech Productions, the family can come out and expect to enjoy themselves in a festive surrounding. Christmas music will be playing all three days in park. There will be entertainment galore and parents can even put in their early Christmas shopping from the many shopping stalls that will be set up.
Tickets are on pre-sale and the price includes one ride in Chubbies Amusement Park, meet and greet characters, 60 minutes of Garfield Show, Chickys Land, Ginger Bread House, Petting zoo, Yoga for Kids, give-aways and a whole lot more.
Drop-off points to enter the venue are by Jamaica College and Hope Pastures as parking will not be allowed in the venue.
