Wadadah tackle Mt Salem for KO quarters spot

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Defending champions Wadadah and Mt Salem are to meet this afternoon at the UDC field after two postponements, to decide the eighth quarter-finalists in the St James Football Association’s Captain’s Bakery Knock-out.

The game was originally set for last Friday but was shifted to Tuesday but was once again moved to this afternoon.

Wadadah will be confident after coming off their first win in the Western Confederation Super League on Sunday, hammering Prosper FC of Hanover 4-0.

The winner of today’s game will meet Fogo United who beat Barrett Town 4-0 on Monday.

Brian Robinson scored twice as Jason Campbell and Dwayne Miller got the others for Fogo.

Other quarter-final qualifiers so far are Salt Spring United, Catherine Hall, Mountain Villa, Granville United, and Seba United.
