Longville bag LIME community cricket title

Longville bag LIME community cricket title

LONGVILLE Park on Sunday defeated tournament favourites Sandy Bay by six wickets to take the top prize in the LIME/South East Clarendon Cricket Association (SECCA) 20/20 Cricket Tournament.

Playing at their home ground at the Longville Park Community Centre in Freetown Clarendon, Longville Park, led by Chad Hilton (74 not out), scored 143 runs for four wickets off 18.4 overs to best Sandy Bay who made 142 runs for six wickets off 20 overs.

Awards were presented in the following categories.

Top Batsmen of the final Longville Park: Chad Hilton — 74 not out Sandy Bay: Miguel Gordon — 47 Top Bowlers of the final

Ferris Bell (Longville Park) — 3 for 16 Batsman for the tournament — Dwayne Mahabear of Sandy Bay, who scored at total of 202.

Top Wicket Taker of the tournament

Lynval Hope of Portland Cottage who took 10 overall.
