THE Christmas season is almost here and despite the economic situations that we are facing, fashion still plays an integral role in the daily lives of our people and culture.

Parties, banquets, concerts and other social events are definitely on for this season and with the success of the first staging of the Observer’s Fashion Night Out*, we just had to give you some of the hottest trends that will be taking over this season.

Jamaica has a wide range of new, upcoming designers and TEENage will be highlighting their fashions for the festive season. Our first designer to be featured hails from Kingston, and although his designs are relatively new he has been featured on Saints International’s Style Week Jamaica, Island Couture and Fashion Block Montego Bay.

TEENage: When was the line established?

Mark Anthony (MA): In January 2009

TEENage: Where are you located and how can people contact you?

TEENage: Describe your line:

MA: Fresh, clean-cut, classic male chic.

TEENage: What are your inspirations? MA : Mostly colour and fabric, but I am self-motivated. But when designing ‘a look’ for someone I’m inspired by my taste.

TEENage: What can people expect from you in the near future?

MA: New and creative designs living up to what my tag line that states, ‘Bold, the new look’.
