Terri-Karelle Griffith-Reid to represent Spartan at Miss World
Miss Jamaica World 2005, Dr Terri-Karelle Griffith-Reid, left Jamaica on Thursday for Johannesburg, South Africa where she will represent Spartan Health Club at the 2009 Miss World Pageant.
Dr Reid is currently the general manager at Spartan which is the franchise holder for Miss World in Jamaica. At Miss World she will attend a meeting of franchise holders chaired by Miss World Chairman Julia Morley.
Dr Reid is taking a number of dresses for Miss Jamaica, Kerrie Baylis, provided by Uzuri International and Althea LeFranc, a Jamaican designer and former Miss Jamaica World contestant who now lives in Los Angeles, USA. She is also carrying accessories from Bling Bling for the Sherry Couture stage gown (adjudged 3rd best gown at Miss World 2009) that will be worn by Kerrie at the Miss World Finals on December 12.
Dr Reid is accompanied on her trip to South Africa by her husband Evon Reid.
