Half-tons for Baugh, Powell, Hyatt

TAMAR Lambert’s XI, resuming on their overnight score of 344-6, were dismissed for 427 on the second day of the third Jamaica Trial match at Melbourne Oval yesterday.

Wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh Jr made 63 and Daren Powell 55 after teammates Xavier Marshall’s impressive topscore of 125 on Friday’s first day.

Andre Dwyer took 3-122, Nkruma Bonner 2-31 and Andre Russell 2-70 for David Bernard’s XI.

At close Bernard’s XI were at 168-3 with Danza Hyatt topscoring with 67 so far. Donovan Pagon chipped in with 51 and Horace Miller 35 not out.

Captain Bernard is on 14 not out after Powell, Shawn Findlay and legspinner Odean Brown one wicket apiece.
