Tomorrow’s People face Seba challenge
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Western Confederation Super League team, Seba United will take on St James FA’s Senior League team Tomorrow’s People in the second game of a double-header at Jarrett Park this afternoon as the second round of the Captain’s Bakery and Grill Knock-out continues.
The opening game, which starts at 4:00 pm, will be a derby between Granville United and Granville City, starting at 4:00 pm.
Seba United, who are tied for second in the Super League, should run out easy winners today and advance to the quarter-final round where they would meet the winners of the game between Abes and Revelations set for next Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Catherine Hall joined Salt Spring United as the early quarter-finalists after edging Gully Ambassadors 3-2 at the UDC field.
Michael Stewart scored twice for Catherine Hall and Joel Hayles got the other, while Everton Lewis and Cornell Pennicott scored for Gully Ambassadors.
Defending champions Wadadah will start the defence of their title this afternoon when they take on Mt Salem United at the UDC field.
