Reno, Frome in Westmoreland KO decider
FROME, Westmoreland — Western Confederation Super League teams Reno FC and Frome will meet this afternoon at the Frome Sports Grounds to decide the winners of the Westmoreland FA’s Knock-Out title, starting at 3:30.
The final is expected to be exciting with both teams tied for second place in the Confederation Super League on 10 points each.
Reno are coming off a big 7-0 win over Western Sports Academy in the semi-final a day after Frome had beaten Savanah, 1-0.
Much will be riding on the outcome of the game as it will also decide which team represents Westmoreland in the Jamaica Football Federation/Flow Champions Cup KO league next year.
Meanwhile, Prior to the playing of the KO finals, the Westmoreland FA’s Captain’s Bakery and Grill Major League will kick off.
Twelve teams will take part in the competition which will be played ion two groups in the first round, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals.
Russia, who have lost in the last two finals, will open against promoted Extra Flexx in a Zone A game set to start a 1:30 pm.
