Parking extortion
Dear Editor,
This is an open letter to the Mayor of Kingston. Sir, you have being doing some excellent work. The city is free from congestion of cars parking all over the place. However, we need some answers as to why you send trucks and police at night to take people’s cars parked at Emancipation Park.
Mr Mayor, after a hard day at work one needs to relieve some stress and some do it by walking at the park. I know there is a car park but not everyone can go there as sometimes they don’t have the fee to pay.
Leaving vehicles at Emancipation Park is not causing traffic congestion and not blocking traffic in the least. I see no reason for such action and you are causing undue stress on people. I see this as barefaced extortion.
