Kate Hudson narrowly escapes a wardrobe malfunction
Wearing a vintage silver Versace mini-dress to the American Music Awards on Sunday night, Kate Hudson was looking to make a good impression.
But as she took to the stage to introduce the Black Eyed Peas, the 30-year-old narrowly escaped exposing her breasts at the audience as her loose-fitting neckline hung off her chest.
Clearly aware of the lack of coverage the shimmering gown gave her modest cleavage, the How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days actress fiddled nervously with her top as she talked on stage.
Joining her statuesque Nine co-star Nicole Kidman on stage, Hudson incited giggles from the audience as she repeatedly touched her plunging neckline.
But once backstage at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, Hudson appeared much more relaxed about her dress now she was out of the public glare.
The mother-of-one has always been confident about her body, and despite her small chest, has often worn revealing low-cut tops and dresses.

Catherine Zeta-Jones ‘Park Avenue princess’ style
In recent months, Catherine Zeta-Jones has been criticised for dressing years beyond her age.
But heading out to Broadway rehearsals in New York City on Monday, the Welsh actress shook off the memories of her recent fashion faux pas as she dressed like a Park Avenue princess.
While the 40-year-old looked undeniably chic in her sleek ensemble, she risked the wrath of animal rights protesters as she chose to wear a fur coat.
Despite her controversial coat, Zeta-Jones looked trendier than she has done in months with her leather leggings, sunglasses and £650 Christian Louboutin platform ankle boot.

Kelly Osbourne takes an embarrassing tumble
Kelly Osbourne lost her footing – and almost her dignity –
in her final bid to win America’s Dancing With The Stars on Monday night.
The reality TV star tumbled to the floor as she attempted a complicated move with dance partner Louis van Amstel.
Instead of twisting smoothly around her partner’s body, Osbourne landed between his legs as they performed a freestyle 70s routine to Gloria Gaynor’s song I Will Survive.
The 25-year-old laughed uncontrollably after messing up.
Wearing a slinky silver dress, the blonde cringed as judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba gave their verdicts.
