Fiction’s Brand New Style Machine
Kingston’s popular hotspot, the Fiction Lounge, will be the centre of attention yet again as lights, cameras and style take over the weekly Wednesday night series Brand New Machine.
Brand New Machine is the brainchild of Smokin Jacket and Tuesday Nite Live creator Steve ‘Urchin’ Wilson, Dancehall Soul singer Farenheit and designer Omar ‘Sharky’ Martin. The concept is to bring new music, new themes and new ideas to the club scene on a Wednesday night, and this has been the driving force behind the success of the weekly event.
“We’re bringing the best of global nightlife to Kingston” says promoter and make-up stylist Georgette ‘GiGi’ Smith, “and we will be stepping it up a notch with the fifth instalment of our Fashionista Edition”, she continued.
The fashionista edition she says will feature a live photoshoot at midnight, under the esteemed mastery guidance of Ace photographer Ryan Lue Clarke, who’s lens has been capturing the hearts of photo enthusiasts and models across Jamaica and the world at large.
“You name it, we got it, every event will have a different concept for our live party photoshoot – pitbulls, bikes, models the whole works – and in the midst of it, patrons can get a first look at some great fashions from OMG.” Smith says.
The Fashionista series of Brand New Machine will happen tonight at the Fiction Lounge but patrons are urged to come out early and stylish so as to be a part of this live photoshoot concept.
Music will be marshalled by Fame FM’s Collin Hines along with DJ Supastar and DJ Venom, ladies are free before midnight and the vibe kicks off as early as 9:00 pm.
Though the Fashionista concept will be for tonight only, persons can still come out to enjoy other brand new concepts from the Brand New Machine series every Wednesday night at the Fiction Lounge.
