Reno join semi-final line-up in Westmoreland Knock-Out
LITTLE LONDON, Westmoreland – Reno FC completed the semi-final lline-up of the Westmoreland Football Association’s Knock-Out competition after beating fellow Western Confederation Super League team Petersfield 3-0 at the Bay Road Sports Complex on Thursday.
O’Brian Woodbine gave Reno the lead after scoring a penalty kick in the 11th minute, but they had to wait until the second half for a second goal, which came from Kenroy Hutchinson, who is on a goal-scoring run after scoring twice against Granville in a Super League game on Sunday.
Martin Williams completed the scoring in the 81st minute as Reno advanced to ply Western Sports Academy in the semi-final set for next Thursday at Frome.
Defending champions Frome FC will meet Savanah in the semi-final set for the same day.
