Habibi Latino opens restaurant # 2 in MoBay
“We have so many customers flying in to our restaurant at the Market Place from MoBay that we looked seriously at another restaurant, and here we are at the Shoppes of Rosehall,” states Abdul El Khalili, owner of Habibi Latino.
They certainly are, and even though dining was al fresco up until Monday evening when the final pieces of furniture were laid out inside the 1,000 sq ft interior with seating for 40, there certainly was no reason to feel less than special. The stone water wheel feature and setting is truly formidable and yes, Montegonians have been enjoying the fare. A few complaints were heard about the slow service, but Abdul, as he prefers to be called by all, is satisfied that all is now in place for a superb dining experience. “You know how it is when one is setting up, but we’re fully operational with seating outside for 60; so we’re all set to welcome 100 diners each day.”
Additional dining features include a fully open kitchen affording full interaction between patrons and the chef. And yes, after coffee there’ll be ample opportunity for patrons to enjoy the ever-so-popular hookah pipes.
