Pickersgill back as PNP chairman
ROSE HALL, St James – People’s National Party’s (PNP) chairman Robert Pickersgill and his deputy, Maxine Henry Wilson, were both re-elected to their positions unopposed at Sunday’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting at the Rose Hall Country Club and Resorts.
The 11 other NEC members elected to serve on the party’s executive committee for the new administrative year were Ronnie Thwaites, Dean Peart, Kern Spencer, Dr Omar Davies, John Junor, Professor Trevor Munroe, Anthony Hylton, Aloun Assamba, Denise Daley, Eugene Kelly and Floyd Morris.
The party’s executive committee is the body that is entrusted with the power to administer the day-to-day affairs of the party and to implement the recommendations of the NEC.
The executive committee meets once per week.
