79 year-old Trelawny man missing
FALMOUTH, Trelawny – Seventy- nine year-old William Sawyers, of Spicy Hill in Trelawny, has been missing since last Saturday.
Sawyers, who is otherwise called “Chippy”, is of a fair complexion with gold-capped teeth, of slim build and about five feet, nine inches tall. He was last seen dressed in a blue jersey shirt and a pair of blue jeans.
According to his wife, Valda, the elderly man left home on Saturday morning with intention of visiting one of his sons who also resides within the Spicy Hill community. That son – Donald- has since confirmed that his father visited him that morning, asked for money to buy cigarettes and later left the premises. He has neither been seen nor heard from since then.
