Early childhood institute gets $20,000 in donations
GRANGE, Westmoreland – The Grange Early Childhood Institute last week received a number of benches and a chalkboard, valued at $20,000, from the Grange Community Club.
Now that the Institute has received the items, school principal, Doreen Beckford-Barrett said the problem of overcrowding would become a thing of the past.
“Now that we got these benches it will make learning easier for students and they will function better,” the elated principal said.
The club’s donation is the first of its kind to the institution that has been in existence since 1953.
