Clarendon man wanted by police
The Clarendon police yesterday said they were seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with several crimes committed in that parish.
According to the Constabulary Communication Network (CCN), 26 year-old Adiff Washington, who is from Milk River in the parish, is wanted for two counts of shootings committed at Bamboo district, early on Sunday, December 15.
In addition, he is wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Owen Jones at Toll Gate on November 24 and a number of robberies and shootings in Clarendon, the police say.
Washington – whom the police said is of dark complexion, about five feet, eight inches in height, and has a round face with a scar on the forehead – frequents areas such as Victoria Town and Bottom Town in Manchester; Gimmi-Mi-Bit, Milk River and Gravel Hill in Clarendon.
They are appealing to anyone with information on the whereabouts of Washington to call Crime Stop, 119 or the nearest police station.
