Fugitive held in Mile Gully
BERKLEY Alex Hepburn, who is wanted in the United States for drug trafficking charges, was apprehended by the Fugitive Apprehension Team in Mile Gully, Manchester Wednesday.
Hepburn, 58, otherwise called “Heppy”, gave police his addresses as Clifton Heights and Mile Gully, both in Manchester.
The police reported that at about 2:40 pm Wednesday, members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team carried out an operation in Mile Gully where Hepburn was seen and apprehended.
He is wanted in the southern district of Florida for one count of intent to distribute cocaine and ganja and one count of importing cocaine and ganja.
The police said he was a member of a drug cartel which operated between Jamaica, Bahamas and the United States of America.
