Garnet Silk for Earthday celebration
Black Lion Promotions presents the Garnet Silk Earthday Celebration, tonight at the Goshen sports complex in St Elizabeth.
The event features a host of international and local artistes.
These include Luciano, Anthony B, Jack Radicks, Bongo Herman, Mystic Revealers, Abijah, Sugar Minott, President Brown, George Nooks, Josey Wales, Natural Black, Charlie Chaplin, Louie Culture, General B and Angie Angel.
The music will be provided by Soundwaves International and Ricky Trooper.
Showtime is 8:00 pm.
Saturday Night Vibes Party Continues at the Brewery
The weekly Saturday Night vibes party continues tonight at The Brewery on Montego Bay’s Hip Strip along Glouchester Avenue.
This week, Olympic Music will take centre stage and showtime is 11:00 pm.
According to The Brewery’s assistant manager, Colin Scarlett, since the inception of the Saturday night vibes party promotion last year, the venue has become one of the best entertainment spots in Western Jamaica.
Scarlett said tonight’s party with Olympic Music should be another success.
Oliver and the Genie returns to MoBay tomorrow night
Patrick Brown’s hit play Oliver and the Genie returns to Montego Bay tomorrow night.
The play was first staged in the western city at the Montego Bay Community College just over a month ago, but as a result of the large turnout a number patrons were unable to see the play.
This time, however, the event will be staged at the Half Moon Conference Centre, Rose Hall, at 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
The play features Oliver Samuels, Glen Campbell, Claudette Pious, Dahlia Harris and Chris Daley.
Happy Hour at Club X’clusive in Trelawny
The recently refurbished Club X’clusive in Bounty Hall, Trelawny has added another event to its roster.
Starting this Sunday, there will be a weekly Sunday Nite Happy Hour party between the hours of 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm
According to the manager at the facility, Jaslin Williams, happy hour will feature a wide range of entertainment activities.
He added that there will also be complimentary drinks and reduced prices on a number of products.
