Sandals Old Clothes Party
Do you have some old clothes lying around the house? Well if you do, dust them off, put them on and head for Pier One tonight. You might just be in the running to win some great prizes at the Sandals Montego Bay Sports and Social Club’s Millennium Old Clothes party. The fun begins at 8 pm.
Gate prize will be a 20 inch television set and a weekend for two at the Sandals Montego Bay Hotel. There will also be prizes of $5000 each for the male and female wearing the “best old clothes.”
Pieces Disco will provide the music.
TOK for Teen Fest 2001
High-riding group TOK will headline Teen Fest 2001 at the Puerto Seco Beach in St Ann today.
The show begins at 10am, and includes performers such as Sean Paul, Innocent Crew, Mr Chicken Looga Man and the Potential Crew.
Left Side and Turbo Charge will provide the music.
Klass One 31st Anniversary Celebration
This year, the management of Klass One disco celebrates 31 years in the music business. To mark milestone, a number of events have been planned. One such event is a special dance to be held at Club Xclusive, Bounty Hall tonight.
Sound Trooper and Fidco will provide the music while the Dancehall
Master, GT Taylor, will be the special guest.
The World at Eight at Coyaba Hotel
The Book Club, which is a small group of literary enthusiasts in and around Montego Bay, will host Dr Milton L Forbes on Thursday, as he reads excerpts from his first novel/autobiography entitled: ‘The World at Eight’. The reading starts at 7 pm, and takes place at the Coyaba Hotel at Ironshore.
Papa San for Falmouth
Gospel heavyweight Papa San is slated to perform at a concert to be held at the William Knibb Baptist Church Hall in Falmouth next week Friday. The concert, which is being staged by the Trelawny Ministries Fellowship, starts at 7pm.
Papa San, who has not performed in Falmouth since embracing Christianity, will share the bill with Pastor Junior Rutty, Ken Smith, Melodies of Praise, and a few local acts.
Tickets are now on sale at the Trelawny Cooperative Credit Union and Salmon’s Pastries.
