Western Weekend in Sports
FOOTBALL: The Craven ‘A’ National Premier League will continue tomorrow with Wadadah hosting Olympic Gardens in a match scheduled to start at 3:00 pm.
Esher will take aim at the leadership of the Sandals Negril Hanover Division One football competition, when they play Galaxy in Lucea today.
In another match down to be played today, Sandals Negril are down to play Superstar at Long Bay. Tomorrow, Central go up against Kendal/Grange in Lucea, and Couples Negril play Red Carpet at Long Bay.
All matches will begin at 3:00 pm.
The Sandals St James Division One competition will take a break this weekend.
In the National Rums Trelawny Super League, the second leg semifinals will be played as a double-header at the Elletson Wakeland field in Falmouth tomorrow.
Coopers Pen will play Flames at 2:00 pm, and Hampden take on Harmony at 4:00 pm.
The Hopewell Sports Development Council President’s Cup competition continues this weekend with two matches. Today, Lane play Brisco, while tomorrow, it is Invaders versus Bamboo. Both matches start at 3:30 pm.
The Guardian Life St James Division Two competition continues this weekend with four games down to be played. Today, Marl Road play Upsetters at Bickersteth at 3:30 pm, while in a double-header at the UDC field, it is Gunners against Green Pond at 2:00 pm, followed by Progress versus Westgreen at 4:00 pm.
Tomorrow, Ibyssiani take on Ramble at the UDC field in a game scheduled to start at 3:30 pm.
CRICKET: The Rothmans Cornwall Senior Cup competition continues this weekend with St James playing Hanover at Elgin Town, and Trelawny taking on St Elizabeth at Alpart.
