Doctor’s sentencing pushed back
TRELAWNY — Dr Ruddy Brown, the young physician convicted at the end of last month for indecent assault, is to be sentenced on January 3 in the Clarke’s Town Resident Magistrate’s Court when a probation report ordered by magistrate Roy Jones should be available.
But even with the completion of this case, Dr Brown, 34, will have another to answer for alleged rape.
Brown has a surgery in Duncans, Trelawny and in August a young woman went to him for consultation when he allegedly fondled and sexually assaulted her. Days later he allegedly raped another young woman.
Both incidents were reported to the police and Dr Brown was arrested.
He was convicted for indecent assault in one of the cases on October 29 and was scheduled for sentencing last Wednesday.
However, the probation report requested by Jones was not ready.
