MONTEGO BAY, St James
Two men and an 18-year-old woman are facing several charges in the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court arising from a robbery plot.
According to the story that came out in court on Monday, Camille Green, the girlfriend of one. Colin Hutchinson, became friendly with the complainant who drove her home to a rural community on May 31.
He returned after she informed him that she had decided to spend the night with him.
While in the car, she received a phone call and told the complainant to take her back home again as she had changed her mind.
He complied, buit upon arriving at her home was set upon by several men including Hutchinson and one 20-year-old Jerome Palmer. He was chased onto a main road where he was rescued and taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was admitted for two days. He was later transferred to the Kingston Public Hospital where he spent another four days before he was released. The court heard that Palmer - who was seen with three cellular telephones on June 24 - admitted they were procured from the robbery. He also admitted to being involved in several other robberies and directed to police to the whereabouts of Hutchinson who was arrested on June 25th. Bail for all three was extended until September 8 when they are due to return to court.
