Garvey Maceo High are hoping lightning will strike twice and they will emulate Clarendon College's path to the 1991 daCosta Cup title after being allowed back in after Old Harbour High withdrew last week.

Clarendon College did not qualify for the Inter-zone round in 1991, but got back in after Lennon High were disqualified for using an overaged player and made the best of their second chance by going on to win the title.
Garvey Maceo High, who won the rural area double in 2007, taking the Ben Francis Knockout and daCosta Cup titles, had finished third in Zone I behind winners Glenmuir High and Old Harbour.
The Jeffrey Hewitt-coached Garvey Maceo were, however, included in the Inter-zone that starts tomorrow after Old Harbour withdrew last week after using an overaged player in their Under-14 team.
Yesterday, Hewitt was wary when contacted by the Observer, saying while they were "looking forward to continuing in the competition...sympathised with Old Harbour, who have worked hard all season and deserved their place", adding that all schools must, however, abide by the rules set down by the organisers.
Hewitt said he had got his squad together and had started training on Monday and said the lay off since the end of the zone play on October 17th "would obviously affect us".
Garvey Maceo, who have been tipped by several coaches as one team to watch, will play in Group Six, and will open their Inter-zone against Zone L winners Paul Bogle High at York Oval before playing St Mary Technical on Saturday, then end against Dinthill Technical at Dinthill next Wednesday.
