A 13-year-old who attends Immaculate Conception High School, Denton outpointed unseeded Mica Williams 6-2, 6-0 and will play in the final tomorrow, the winner of the Tannice Fogarthy/Shadae Findlay match-up.

Findlay, the number two seed, is expected to get the better of fifth-seeded Fogarthy.

"I am still working on things and not at my best as I need to work on my backhand, but I'm very confident going into the final," she said.

"I think Findlay will be in the final and I've played her twice with success," she added.

Meanwhile in the Boys 18, unseeded Lawrence Salmon overcame top seed Jordan Harris to book his place into today's semi-final against number four seed Sheldon McIntosh.

Said Salmon afterwards: "I played really
well. I was concentrating and worked on Harris' weaknesses."

He admitted though that number four seed Sheldon McIntosh would be a different kettle of fish.
"He will be quite a challenge," he said.

Number two seed Camarsh Crumbie will take on Joseph Ross in the other semi-final of the Boys 18.

The Girls 18 will present one of the most awaited clashes of the tournament when Florida-based 12-year-old Neeah Rose butts heads with the acknowledged best female player in the island 16-year-old Simone Vranov-Brown, who also lives in Florida, in the semi-final.

Rose, seeded fourth, disposed of Phadria Kepple 6-3, 6-2 and Simone made an example of Nordian Campbell 6-1, 6-0.

In the other Girls 18 semi-final, Sicquena Sinclair - the number one seed - will take on arch-rival Shantal Blackwood.

In the Boys 16, Oshane Trail, Joseph Ross and Simon Levy have booked their place in today's semi-finals.
Unseeded Levy overpowered sixth-seeded Sean Vanwhervin 6-4, 6-3 and will play the winner of the McIntosh/Alex Anderson quarter-final which will be completed today.

In the Girls 16, unseeded Kepple showed glimpses of what lies beneath when defeated fourth seed Sarah Orrett for a place in the semi-final against 12-year-old Rose; while fifth-seeded Lauren Vranov-Brown locks horns with Sicquena Sinclair who relishes challenging the favourites in the other semi-final.

In the Boys 14, unseeded Audie Smith has been in the form of his life and reached the semi-finals beating Jason Graham 6-2, 6-7 (3), 6-3. Sixth seeded Alex Anderson also reached the semis beating Maiz Sinclair 6-3, 6-2.
