Rae Town to wrap up season today against Brown's Town

The 2008/2009 Claro KSAFA Major League champions Rae Town will wrap up their successful season when they face Brown's Town in a game of academic interest at the Vauxhall High School today starting at 3:30 pm.

In other games, Barbican entertain Molynes at Barbican, Port Royal play Swallowfield
at Stadium East, Rockfort host Olympic Gardens and Cooreville take on Central Kingston at Cooreville. All games starting at 3:30 pm.

Rae Town, who did not play last weekend as they were scheduled to play Meadforest who have been suspended for the rest of the season, held a seven-point lead over Barbican going into the penultimate round of matches.

And despite losing to Barbican which reduced their advantage to five points, Rae Town remain unruffled as they cannot be surpassed.

Rae Town sit atop the league with 44 points, followed by Barbican with 39, Brown's Town with 36, Central Kingston are fourth with 32, Rockfort fifth with 29 and Olympic Gardens sixth with 21.

Cooreville, Swallowfield and Molynes are tied on 20, while Port Royal with 18 and Seaview with 11 complete the table.

Seaview will join Meadforest as the demoted teams to the Syd Bartlett competition next season.

In the Syd Bartlett League, Greenwich Town will try to take a step closer to the title when they face Maxfield Park in one of four matches on today.

In other games, UWI host Pembroke Hall, Shortwood play away to Stony Hill and Island Special Constabulary (ISCF) take on Whitfield Town at Bell/Chung Oval. All matches start at 3:30 pm.

With four games left to be played, Greenwich Town lead the standings with 32 points, ahead of Allman/Woodford with 29, UWI and Whitfield have 28 and 26 points respectively, while Shortwood and Stony Hill, who both have five games to go, complete the top six with 26 and 23 points respectively.

Maxfield have 18, Pembroke Hall 17, ISCF 13 and New Kingston eight.
